Pure signal.

The hard work of civilization.

There is nothing that I can do that can make these websites as interesting as the TV show “Friends”. But I can ask you a question:

Do you want to live in the world made from the information which you can glean from a season of “Friends”, or do you want to live in the world made from the information available on the following web sites? Because you are one of the active centers (and there are a limited number of them) who get to make that decision. You help make that decision (the decision of how much applied intelligence is available for problem solving) every time you pick up a book, browse a web site, turn on the TV or radio, or engage in conversation. Either by with-holding or enforcing, these decisions of yours help to shape the world.

What world do you want to live in?
